Beach Blessings by Pat Shirkes (Miami, FL) - Originally a native of New York, Pat Shirkes now lives in Miami and walks the beaches harvesting beach glass to incorporate into her one of a kind jewelry. Using sterling silver and semi-precious stones, she imbues each piece with her sensibilities to adorn, soothe and bless your soul.

Nicoletta Breda (Italy) - As a ceramicist, Nicoletta incorporates her talents to make beautiful pottery. She now uses that knowledge to make her one of a kind necklaces.

Maya Brenner Designs (California) - A native of California, Maya always loved stones and beads. While getting her Master's Degree in Social Work, Maya began a hobby that quickly turned into a side business once people began requesting pieces for themselves. Since launching the business in 1998, her jewelry line has grown and is now sold at exclusive stores such as Henri Bendel, Fred Segal and Anthropologie.

Edward Cleary (Upstate New York) - Edward is a self taught glass blower with a unique vision. For Handmade, he produces hand blown glass hair ornaments of which no two are ever alike.

Andrea Chrem (Brooklyn, NY) - Originally from Peru, Andrea returns to her native land each year to acquire indigenous materials in producing this line of sterling silver and semi-precious stone jewelry. Each piece is hand set and finished.

Kristina Larson (Brooklyn, NY) - Being a sculptor by trade, doing stone carvings and constructions, has lead Kristina to embrace the natural beauty of marble, leading her to develop simplistic jewelry with an organic feel

MW Designs (Brooklyn, NY) - With no formal training in jewelry making, Marie Wu developed her line of jewelry through a love of semi precious stones and flowers. Each of her pieces incorporates the art of wire wrapping and Bali beads.

Melissa McArthur (London, England) - A graduate of the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Melissa is inspired by design of the sixties and seventies to produce her fashion collection. The simplicity and boldness of these pieces is complemented by a soft, fluid and a very feminine quality.

N*M*oni by Chris Acquaviva & Melissa Bull (Brooklyn, NY) - Upon meeting at Pratt Institute, Chris and Melissa began a collaboration of jewelry and sculpture inspired by nature and ocean life

Yuh Okano (Tokyo, Japan) - Born in Tokyo. Educated at RISD. After working as an instructor of textiles in Tokyo for 6 years, Yuh started her own business designing her own line of scarves and handbags utilizing her fantastic sense of style and indescribable fiber techniques.

Alex Pimienta - Expirimental Design Objects (Brooklyn, NY) - Trained as a sculptor at Pratt Institute, Alex practices his art in the form of mini sculptures that double as personal accessories.

Erica Rosenfeld Designs (Brooklyn, NY) - Kiln fired glass tiles set in a traditional Indian Peyote beading stitch produces jewelry in the from of rings, necklaces and bracelets that is truly unique.

Laurie Shovers (Bayside, WI) - Her jewelry is a combination of old and new elements. She hand beads each of her small weavings (one bead at a time) combining colorful Japanese seed beads with antique metal beads. The metal spools are turned by another artist, Robert Baumgarten, of Grafton, Wisconsin.

Viv & Ingrid (San Francisco, CA) - Childhood friends Vivian Wang and Ingrid Chen joined forces in January of 1999 while discussing the latest fashion trends over coffee. They realized that they were a design team waiting to happen. Vivian with her free-spirited flair, Ingrid with her refined detailing, they set out together to create a new philosophy in accessible luxuries for the modern woman.

Gisela von Eicken (New York, NY) - Using fine-gauge wire of sterling , 14k Gold filled, brass and color-coated copper, Gisla twists, coils and weaves, creating airy yet bold jewelry. Her controlled tangles of wire, some set with fossils, minerals or semi-precious gems, have the appeal of sculptural art with a life of its own.

Adam Aaronson - Adam of Aaronson Noon gives us hand blown glass items.

David Barthold (Brooklyn, NY) - A self-taught ceramist, David Barthold's approach to production and design is strongly influenced by his experience as a printmaker and painter. The artist says that he tends to look outside the world of studio pottery for his sources, most notably towards historical fabric and paper goods.

Kristin Blozie - Kristin takes everyday glass and makes one-of-a-kind mosaic mirrors.

Helen Carnac (London, England) - This English artist based in London, England is a formally trained sculptor. Working in metal and acrylic, Helen produces original forms of functional sculpture.

Marie Christophe (Paris, France) - This artist based in Paris, France uses wire to make unusual home accents. In addition to candlelabras, she also produces chandeliers, bowls and other decorative objects. Featured in French Elle Decor and Marie Claire Maison, her designs are truly unique.

Hudson Beach Glass - A glass studio established in 1987, John & Wendy Gilvey produce hand cast glass with a sandblasted finish in a color palette taken from transparent precious stones. The fluid yet solid pieces derive their designs from found objects and textured materials.

Celia Landman -A graduate of RISD, Claudia takes inspiration from the ocean to design unusual keepsake boxes and other collectibles. Each pewter or brass piece has a little surprise that can only be discovered upon further inspection.

Lorna Moffat - Lorna brings us one-of-a-kind decorative pillows.

Ranos Heirlooms (Pakistan) - In 1996, Imbisat Usman, a professor of literature in Lahore, Pakistan wanted a new career so she could stay home with her newborn daughter. She met a rickshaw driver who had lost a job embroidering badges for college blazers. She hired him, and 24 others, to make her designs of embroidered silk pillows and throws for her company in Lahore, Rano's Heirlooms. The staff hand-embroiders pillows 14" square to 24" by 15" and 30" by 36" wall hangings.

thomaspaul - Thomas Fernez, the designer of the thomaspaul pillow line incorporates the color and excitement of men's and womenÕs fashion into the home accessories market. His design concept is to offer a wide range of patterns, from traditionally based toiles and plaids, to '50's atomic household, '60's pop graphics, '70's minimalist art, along with arts and crafts and tropical influences. The thread that holds all of these together is a bold, contemporary style that allows color to create an immediate impact.
